Night Blind Drawings is a nocturnal, blind, calligraphic project, which I produced over the course of a few months of relentless work.

It is a body of drawings, made in the middle of the night, with my eyes closed, the lights off, following a gesture that stubbornly repeats itself, dictated by a graphomaniac need, by a freedom that goes beyond one’s senses. They are traces that sketch faces, talk about apparitions, phantasmal presences, drifts, and errors. These drawings bear a liminal state between wakefulness and sleep, evoked by a sudden awakening and by a torpid state, loaded with an altered daze. Mnemonic annotations, graffiti, cyphered writings.
