their presence. They can hide the light, and they show themselves as big dark areas of the sky, with undefined outlines.
You wonder naively, with your nose in the air, what could be hiding behind those regions with no stars. What is to be concealed, to be forgotten. You hope something will be revealed.
But if nothing appears, nothing is left but to shrug one’s shoulders, saying that maybe they are just holes. Or maybe cosmic eddies? Points of access? That would be something, too.
 
UNTITLED (GRAPHITE) is a series of drawings that derive from the impression of a latex membrane covered with graphite dust.
